Active front diff for the 2009 spec Xray 808

While the Terex Active Differential is a performance option for serious racers who want to gain an edge on superior speed and handling,
it is also of great benefit to any level of driver that wants a more predictable and easy-to-drive car in any racing conditions.

The Unique EXSEN TEREX diff is a high performance active differential with adjustable ramps and gears.
This will vastly improve the speed and handling characteristics of your buggy or truggy.

The unique design of the internal components allow the diff to be tuned to your requirements and will allow the diff gears to engage on-power,
increasing forward traction and speed, also giving a much stable buggy when the power is applied.

The optional diff ramps give a different handling feel to the car.
The standard no.3 ramps give a good balance between on-power and off-power performance with a 40% delay before engaging and free rolling when off-power.
The optional no.4  ramps are more responsive and engage when power is applied with a 30% delay or release when off-power.
The optional no.5 ramps are even more responsive and will engage with a 20% delay or release when off-power.
In all cases the breaking distance is reduced and the car keeps a true, stable line.

The no.3  ramps are better suited to slippery, fast tracks or bumpy with low traction.
(the diffs work with a delay so no instant drive, giving less wheel spin, more traction)

The no.4 ramps are best used when the track is medium grip or bumpy with average traction.
(the diffs work with a small delay, giving less wheel spin, more drive)

The no.5 ramps are better suited to fast flowing or high grip tracks.
(the diffs work with almost no delay, giving direct drive and more punch)


Specs:
Crown Gear is an exact match for original and made from hard F1 material
Diff body is forged light alloy, resists high temperatures and will not melt. ....(unlike the copy diffs)
Planetary gears are hardened and coated with an anti-friction treatment.
Output drive cups are hardened and coated with anti-friction and anti-corrosion treatment.
Planetary gear shafts are 2.5mm and will not snap under load. ....(unlike the copy diffs)
No diff oils needed. ....(so no leaky, unreliable, unpredictable or under performing diff action)


Maintenance:
A small blob of high temperature grease every 3 to 4 hours of running
